i use the word ''god'' to express my feelings at any moment, such as ''my god, i cant beleieve he missed that open goal'' etc, i never use the word ''god'' to express any religious fervour at all.

mind you plenty of ladies have shouted ''oh my god'', and ''again'', ''god'', ''god'', etc and they aint religious, they are just having a good time with yours truly to be precise, before anyone says different :;):

Im not getting into another religious debate here but if people choose to believe in God thats their choice, I believe in God, I am a catholic, I am educated and, I am not weak.

thats because you were brought up to believe in it lynds and i respect that, its a form of brainwashing. but if you use your education to look at the evidence then you will see what i am saying. i have catholic family in liverpool and know how they were treated in catholic schools in the 70s and 80s. to me it about freedom of choice about what u believe in, and i do believe that religion is a tool to control weak people. people who cant cope with the fact that there is nothing after death.

i have no problem if people find comfort in it but ulitmatley it is a way of controlling weak people who are scared of the truth, and the truth is there is no god.

ive said before if he/she ever appears i will say i was wrong but thats not going to happen. i would rather live my life without any religious control or hang ups and be free to live the life i choose, not a life that someone has to dictate to me.

religion is a contentious issue, i dont force my belief on people and expect the same from them.

Well Peewee thats your opinion and you seem pretty much set on that so..I just dont see how the fact of nothing after death would worry anyone?

Strong and educated people believe in God too and to be honest -Id find it harder to believe God doesnt exist.
