FIFA recognized all Intercontinental winners as being WORLD CHAMPIONS due to the amateurism of football in the other continents at those times.
The last world champion was Porto (2004).
You didn't participate in those competitions because you were afraid of South Americans violent football, mainly the argentinians. So, Liverpool didn't want to meet Boca Juniors. I'm sorry that Liverpool didn't take that competition so seriously. Most part of European clubs did, including MU in 1999.
Now FIFA considers all of them World Champions and this World Club Championship 2005 is just an adaptation because of the development of football in Africa, Asia etc.

It's because of HIM that I don't believe Brazil will win 2006's World Cup!!
He's just plain AWFUL!
Isn't he the one who made 3 saves in the penalty shoot out against Juventus in 2003 Champions League?
I can explain why the Sãopaulinos doesn't aprove Dida.
When he was playing at Corinthians, in the end of the 90's, his saves in penalties desqualified São Paulo in Brazilian league and in the State league.
I can't remember in wich, but in one of those matches he saved 2 shots from Raí.

Ok.. you think it's a personal issue... but answer me this... (I think you're brazilian)...
Are you safe with Dida being our main keeper (remember, for instance, Inter vs Milan's last match)...
If you are, good for you, I'M CERTAINLY NOT!
Why I shouldn't be? Rogério Ceni, for example, wouldn't make me feel safer.

Your wrong.Liverpool fc were invited to play the Intercontinental friendly match four times and accepted the offer twice.FIFA didnt sanction ANY of those matches.Im sure its nice to think of yourselves as former World Champions, but the fact is you arent.Corinthians of Sao Paulo are though.

However on sunday you will lose.
Sorry.....

Milan's couch said in World Club Championship 1993/Toyota Cup: "We were defeated by the best team in the world".
Hope to hear the same thing from Rafa Benitez on Sunday morning.

Corinthians are the only FIFA sanctioned World Champions,a title they won in the year 2000.The mickey mouse friendly match you won doesnt count.
It´s not what FIFA think...

If you don't believe me, contact FIFA! We're gonna struggle to be World Champions for the THIRD time on Sunday. The red stars above our symbol represent our conquests in World Club Championships in 1992 and 1993.
Corinthians won a bizarre competition that had no criteria and everyone in Brazil make fun of that tournament. They are and will always be a "regional team" that never wins anything outside of Brazil. The're just "black chickens".
They're even supporting you guys to be World Champions. If I find the picture that mix Liverpool's and black chicken's symbols, I post it here.

"The reigning kings of South American defeated Al Ittihad of Saudi Araba in their semi-final and will be hopng to claim a third world crown when they meet the Reds in Yokohama on Sunday."

Ive just checked FIFA`s website, and it makes no mention of the Intercontinental Cup being a FIFA supported or organised match.Liverpool might have taken it seriously if it was.
