Exactly John.
Take the pennies away from Sh*tski, and "the special one" (or w*nker, as you may know him!) wouldn't have achieved the feats Rafa has with LFC.
Infact, we'd probably have finished above them last season.

(But who am I kidding - Moris wouldn't have joined them if they didn't have such wealth.)

Spurs season usually goes as follows and I see no reason this will be any different :-

- Start hoping to win the league
- Have early confidence of breaking into the top four and Champions League football
- Watch early season form disappear and lower sights to UEFA Cup
- Mid-season start worrying you'll be mid-table
- Make noises about a late charge for UEFA spots towards the end of the season
- Finish mid-table

Wasn't the last time spurs were in Europe the last time they won the worthless cup? The only positive to be drawn from their season so far is they're above Arsenal which says more about the goners than it does spurs
