I have never heard Aldo speak or commentate. here in my parts of the world, we only get who the live master broadcaster send to us and that is Sky and it is preceeded and succeeded by the region's Singapore studio host who invites 2 pundits comprising former players or present English coaches who work in Singapore.
A regular pundit is Paul Maclesfield or Jamie Reeves (both English but I don't know where they played before they become coaches in Singapore) or Serbegeth Singh (a Malaysian former international whos speaks quite well for a former Asian footballer) and occassionally we'd have Sir Bobby Robson, Rushie, Steve McMahon, Les Ferdinand with a live cross over with Gerry Armstrong.
About the time before I left England in the 1990s, Alan Hansen just retired and his then style of straight to the chase comments were refreshing, but now some of the forum members have said that he has become a Chelski praising pundit - can't say much because I haven't seen much of him.
