No disrepect Ivor and the rest who've said similar, but I seriously hope our team is above that kind of behaviour. Here we are on one hand condemning Essien and on the other saying "it's alright - we'll break his leg next time we play him" - double standards?
Come on guys how could you respect any player who intentionally goes out to injure some one else.
I hope Essien gets his deserved 3 match ban and we rise above it play professional, hard but fair football (we currently have the fourth lowest number of fouls in the league).
