Jewell is a Liverpool supporter as well isn't he? Former youth player.

cisse is back in the squad anyway.

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N150730051202-1405.htm

apparently, wigan haven't conceded an away goal in nearly six hours. however i can't see us not scoring and the way we are defending i can't see wigan scoring unless it comes from a defensive mistake.

2-0 to the reds. gerrard and garcia to score again.

I want him to score so much. His effort level so far this season and been brilliant. He deserves a goal.

Can you just imagine the roar from the anfield crowd when he scores his first goal at home!!!!

play cisse and crouchy up tops. no offensive to nando but think crouchy needs a goal and has a real good chance this week. also cisse is pacey so can beat the slow wigan defence. but i am sure whatever team Rafa puts out it will succeed. after all Rafa is the Daddy.

I'd keep the same team as against Sunderland but bring in Hamann for Sissoko and Cisse for either Crouch or Morientes.

It would be absolutely criminal not to use Cisse's pace against 2 of the slowest centre backs in the league (Henchoz and De Zeuw).  Apart from those changes we need to keep the same team to keep our consistency going.

Don't worry about Wigan, let them worry about playing away from home to the form premiership side who have 7 clean sheets in a row.  Our recent form should mean we're going into games like this expecting nothing less than a win.  Wigan are no pushover, but we have to the favourites by far here.  Let's keep the momentum going!!

nando and crouch for me, as they are starting to play well together. but then again i reckon nando and cisse, as i want goals, and crouch isnt getting them. bring them on second half if we are a couple ahead.
stevie has to saty on the right with didi and alonso in the middle

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
