Looking for christopher murphy

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Betis1907 » Tue Nov 29, 2005 6:17 pm

Hi! I'm a Real Betis fan and in the match played in September in Seville between my team and LFC, my brother found near the stadium a very old Liverpool scarf, property of Christopher Murphy. It also has two pins, one with a torch that says: 96, Justice, Lest we forget and the other one: Wine for my men, We ride at dawn. If Mr. Murphy or someone who knows him reads this, please let me know and I'll send him his scarf. Thank you very much.

Thanks mate. You are right, so I'll leave also a photo of the scarf. My brother found it near Andalusí-Palace Hotel, very close to our stadium.

Ok Sabre, I'll send you it to San Sebastián tomorrow morning. :D

I have read some of your posts about the match between LFC and RBB and your good comments about us. Thanks a lot and Gora Erreala. :;):

I think that after the exceptional threat we received in Liverpool, this is the least I can do.

It would be great. I think a very good option is also our centenary (in 2007). I dream with a tournament in our stadium with LFC, Celtic (we have a very good relationship with them since the UEFA Cup Final they played in Seville two years ago) and Betis.

By the way, what do you think about Paco Herrera? I met him last summer in Hartford (USA) in a friendly match against Celtic and he caused me a great impression. I wanted to go to LFC training last friday to greet him, but I had no time.

Betis are one of my favourite Spanish clubs now, I like Barca as my favourite club, despise Real Madrid as they always get our best players on the cheap and then had the audacity to try and rip us off with Figo
But since playing Real Betis in the Champions League, i have the utmost respect for you guys, you are a great team with great supporters and you were a credit to the club at Anfield :)
