The Man City game really looked rubbish though.

Okay Niall, I will.

Now, how do I get it?

Old Irish Sky cards are available on Ebay. They will allow you to pick up the Irish and UK channels for free.

once we break into the top four we`ll start to be on more, years ago we were never off motd. and that was back in the days when they`d show maybe two games and just the goals from the other games. people always used to moan saying why are liverpool always one of the two featured games.
notice how the likes of wigan seem to be on a lot - cause they`re in the mix at the moment.
plus we`ve also had a run of fixtures that hasnt included any of the front runners for a while too.

Thats what proper supporters do.

Well mister 22 posts I happen to not be in that position as I cannot make to a game living in BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA and there is onlky so much sleep I can miss and they don't always show the Liverpool matches on Fox.

Here's some quality stuff from Talk LFC, taking a pi$s at MOTD.
What a terrible day going into work it must have been for Gary Lineker today. The Leicester City man who briefly played for our neighbours at one stage must be devastated. What on earth is he going to do tonight? For the past few weeks high flying Wigan, interesting relegation matches, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U and the fact someone else than Liverpool were playing gave the BBC the opportunity to not pay too much attention to what was evolving at Anfield.

Match of the Day went thirteen weeks without having to feature the European Champions, except for the 4-1 drubbing we got from Chelsea, but after today, what will they do? Will the show be cancelled? Brought back to just 10 minutes of highlights? I can see it now...

Gary:"Alright lads, so we're starting off with the Champions of course, then Man United because everyone loves them. Arsenal up next so we can ooh and aah over Henry and then Sund..."

Gary is interrupted by the shows producer who tells him Arsenal have lost to Bolton 2-0. (meaning: Henry did not score although I doubt he was less arrogant for it)

Gary:"Ok then, we push Arsenal back behind the Battle of the Bullet between Newcastle and Villa. That must have been an exciting match right?"

Director:"Actually Gary, feck all happened. Although Gareth Barry did miss a penalty."

Gary:"Well, whatever it takes to keep Liverpool till last. I hear they won today."

Producer:"Yeah, they beat Wigan."

Gary:"Bollicks. That means we can't talk about Paul Jewell for half an hour. We can't cliche the viewers to death when we speak of "the rigors of the Premiership" and "how Wigan have been found out if they lose even to Liverpool. Did they at least score?"

Producer:"Wigan?"

Gary:"Yeah"

Producer:"No, actually, Liverpool have kept eleven clean sheets in fourteen matches so far this season."

Gary:"For crying out loud! That's almost as good as Chelsea!"

Producer:"Actually, better."

Gary:"Well thank God for old Peter Crouch then eh. He saved us in midweek aswell. Thank God we didn't have to pay attention to those two wonderpasses by Xabi Alonso because the big gowl didn't score."

Producer:"Actually Gary..."

Gary:"No!"

Producer:"Yes. Peter Crouch scored."

Gary:"Can't we pretend he didn't?!"

Producer:"Well, we could for the first one..."

Gary:"HE SCORED TWICE?!?!?!"

Producer:"............."

Gary:"I'm going home...ring Manish and tell him he's doing the show tonight..."

Producer:"Gary....Gary?"

Disclaimer: Talklfc wishes to point out that this is in no way a dig at a proud broadcasting institution like the BBC. If you so wish, you may replace the BBC with Sky Sports, Gary Lineker with Andy Grey and Leicester with Dundee United FC - no one likes any of them anyway.

Getting a bit bored with Hansen's preoccupation with Gerrard as well. He was clearly on fire again today but would it kill him to have a close look at someone else in a red shirt?

Our critics tend to focus on the negatives  or try to make out everything negative. For instance during this winning streak we've had the media preocuppied themselves with talking about Crouch not scoring.

Every paper would review our games like this:
"Crouch failed to score in blah blah so many minutes" and they would go on for a couple of paragraphs about his drought.

They finish the article "oh by the way Liverpool won".

Gerrard played well today but what they're going to try do is make it seem like we're depending on Gerrard. They will continue to ignore everyone else who plays well on the team.

Ive been working 6am to 6pm this weekend and  normally on a weekend like that id be in bed by 10pm at the latest .
Considering we have now gone  on a 6 game winning run AND that it was 6 clean sheats  AND that it was against Wigan whome everyone is finding difficult to beat ,AND that Crouchy had scored , well i figured we wouldnt be last for a change , so i stayed up  with anticipation  looking forward to the highlights.
On came the game , Liverpool looking totally dominant  and  fantastic to see Crouch score  ........and it was over !!!! all 4 frigging minutes of it !! without a by or leave !!!
Hanson had bugger all to say about anyone except Gerrad as usual , and Lawrenson  couldnt say anything about Liverpool because there was nothing negative too say !! .
So after waiting up bleary eyed  half nodding off  with match sticks under me eye lids to keep them up , i was a tad p!ssed off to find that it was just 4 mins if that and no in depth annlysis of Liverpool , just Hanson saying waht we all know already about SG  .
Am now at the key board at work half dead with lack of sleep , with a drip feed of caffeine to keep me awake and p!ssed off once again at MOTD , or should we say the Chelski Manu and Gooner show
