Aint got a problem either with Karim coming back!!
Just respect other peoples veiws and understand that no matter how strongly you feel about something theres always another veiwpoint out there with as much conviction and belief behind it than yours!

Tried to just let it pass, as a couple of members said it was out of order anyway!.

Also for the record, I am not denying I said these things, but I have stated my reason, and know I dont hold these views personally, I just used the most basic of cliches and didnt even use the word 'Mick' (as I didnt know it until JBG said it to me in a message!). My mother is half Irish, so sorry, I am not a racist...Believe what you will.

PS....I noticed earlier that Barry is now a 'Guru member'......Wonder why that is

No, I was not offended by the comments because I have a thick skin and it was water off a duck's back. The fact that it was made against the Irish has nothing to do with it whatsoever. Had Barry been German or Dutch or Russian or Angolan it wouldn't have made a difference: you used racist language against him.

Yes, its true a number of other people on this forum have made racist comments. Where we have seen those comments we have deleted them and the member that made them were warned. The difference with you is that you were on a crusade against racist language - which in itself is fair enough and I can respect that - but what I cannot respect is that you lowered yourself to using racist language against another member. The logic behind your explanation for your comments make no sense: if you had not a racist bone in your bother there is no way in hot hell you would have used the language that you did.

Its has nothing to do with being Irish, what you said didn't bother me in the slightest.

You're on a losing argument, no matter what way you dress it up. I can respect the fact that you are offended by racist language, what I'm saying is that I won't take a lecture from you (and there's been plenty of them at this stage) about me and the other mods "turning a blind eye to racism" when you have been guilty of racism yourself.

Being a "Guru" isnt necessarily a good thing.Beavis,Dom and Cheesecakery were the first "Guru`s" if i remember correctly.Think about it

I think LA has to relaise that this isn't a democracy. Now the mods I'm GUESSING that they don't know all of us personally with few exceptions so I trust the mods to keep a balanced view. I think that LA needs to swallow his pride and not try to lead a "revolution" against the moderators.

I did indeed shoot at people during the course of military service .Some black ,some white and some inbetween ,I don't however recall saying I " enjoyed " it , but wouldn't deny feeling some satisfaction over preventing those people from continuing to shoot at me.

Now get over yourself ,I'm tired of reading your bleating posts attempting to justify your conduct . If your gonna leave ,for Gods Sake just GO ! .

for crying out loud, none of you (and i'm talking to LA, barry, woof and peewee) are ever going to learn and will carry on this childish bitchfest until the end of time. you sound like so many kids in the playground, however much you dress it all up in grown up words all it sounds like is "you started it", "no, you started it". if just one of you was man enough to admit that it has all gone on far enough and that its best left alone we'd all be the better for it. there's enough room on this forum for you never to have to bother each other again.

there's enough chips on shoulders here to feed CRA real fries for life. i've butted in too many times already though and i'm now done with it for as long as this bullshit carries on.
