Many of you think "sell Heskey" as if that would achieve anything (apart from about 3m which is not much to a big club like Liverpool).
Heskey's bad form is Houlliers fault. Heskey was absolute class at leicter and in his first season at liverpool but then houllier started having a bad effect on him and therefore many bad-mouth him.
Everything has been said about him playing out position and not being used as an out and out striker but I wont go into that.
If a new manager comes in Heskey will once again shine. There is a reason why one of europe's top managers ia a big fan of his. The manager is Martin O'Neill the man who is the solution to liverpools and heskeys bad form.
In another thread there was this question
"Can you see Heskey getting 20 goals a season under any manager ?" I answered Yes I can see him do it and I HAVE ALREADY SEEN HIM DO IT.
Selling Heskey wont achieve anything we'd only be loosing a PROVEN GOALSCORER IN THE PREMIERSHIP. A new manager would get his confidence up and he would become a goal-scoring machine once again.
If a good manager comes in the summer I GUARANTEE Heskey will surprise many of those who had doubts about his skill and goal scoring ability.

The point is however that any striker, no matter what league you play in is judged on the amount of times they score goals. Van Nostrilhair, Henry, Ronaldo, they all score lots of goals and are highly regarded. Heskey does not score enough and therefore is not good enough.

Again, short memories, he lacks confidence and maybe if we ALL backed him he could come alive again???
Gerrard isn't a manager, Kermit's the manager. Neither Houllier nor SGE has a clue, they are both CLUELESS MUPPETS. Smith is not a winger, neither is Heskey. We could well bow out of Euro 2004 at the first hurdle, will so many be convinced by SGE then?
