I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to all the liverpool fans who came on manutd.com and paid their respects to George Best, it just goes to show in times like these, true and honest football fans can put rivarly and bitterness aside just like we did with the tragic Hillsborough event.
I dont want to waffle on and im not even sure if i am welcomed on here but i just wanted to say thanx.
I'm a united fan from manchester, 34 years old, born and bred manc and been a season ticket holder in the stretford end for 20 years now.
just wanted to say that as i am a true red and not a glory hunter

People on here have varied opinions about George Best. We have a condolence thread here

Every one are welcomed here ... as long as they respect the forum rules. I don't think there is a rule against other teams fans ...

It's a sad day not only for ManU fans, but to the whole of worlds football. Best was one of the best that ever played the game ...

As long as a supporter of a different respects the views of the Liverpool fans in general, everything is okay.
