You're right, all coaches at some point come up against a team who want to play go slow. What he did was immature. I'm supprised an inattentive steward didn't turn around and think that he was a pitch runner and try to tackle him. Now that would be funny.

I still don't see how Pearce's antics match up with Cisse's wonderstrike.

The better the teams the better the defences, none of the matches you list had a significant consequence in terms of the final league standings and you can't show Chelsea, mancs and Arsenal first every time based on the final standings last season or Everton would be fourth up!

sort it out MOTD, people want to watch quality matches not immature behaviour,it was funny but not funny enough to get selected as the main match apart from that it was a typical 0-0 draw.  but the initial point is that we dont get the deserved coverage on MOTD and its been happening consecutively for the last 5, 6 episodes

While to some degree neutral interest may be in the top of the table and bottom of the table you can't just base a schedule around that. Entertainment value often comes from mismatches or least expected areas, watching Chelsea win comfortably for the nth time this season is pretty *yawn* boring. While I'm not suggesting we always be near the front we should at least get in there once in a while

manure was always on MOTD, and i think its because they have shares in the beeb, or vice versa. However, you rarely saw them when they lost

Pearces' antics could have been shown rith at the end, and as they go to a break maybe show 2 seconds of it and some little sound bite about how he should go to the stands. That would keep those who wanted to know more interested while those who just wanted to see the highlights of their teams goals can go to bed.

Gawd.. this thread says it all Phil... the media have chosen to criticise us and Benitez's tactics early in the season, when it was about getting aboard 'the slating LFC bandwagon'.. now that we are playing well and doing what Benitez has always asked supporters to have the patience for.. these toss.ers in the media can't be seen to praise us.. They find Benitez's interviews a kick in the teeth cos he won't give much a way.. good on ya Boss keep it up.. they havn't been able to unsettle Gerrard and well we are on the up.. and that truly frightens them..

MoTD, is a disgrace and so will the BBC sports personality awards of the year be, if the English cricket team beat the Reds to Team of the year

THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

KING KENNY.. Always LEGEND !

RAFA.. MADE THE PEOPLE HAPPY !

Miss YOU Phil-Drummer - RIP YNWA
