It is 'not part of er job' to get shot as you put it, and I did not say it like that. Thats just stupid.

But its even more stupid for you to believe this is not a danger of the job, because each and everytime there is ANY gun incident in the WORLD who is there first (or at least supposed to be)....THE POLICE!!! So dont give me that rubbish.

Armed police for gun incidents. Thats the difference. Sure she had a bp vest on,builders wear safety hats in case a brick falls on their head ,welders wear safety specs,but when something goes wrong we dont say -well they knew the dangers of the job.

Sorry, but if a person on a building site is hurt on the site, then of course was due to a danger of a job!

So I suppose Cisse nearly losing his leg last year wasnt a 'danger' from playing football? Could he have sustained the same type of injury if he had been a 100m Sprinter instead? Dont think so?

the people that accuse karim of always starting arguments are way off the mark in my book and people always seem to want to jump on his back at the slightest provocation. maybe because his views are not in line with many of the sheep on here, or maybe because he will speak his own mind (which is funnily enough a trait others claim to admire in certain other posters). but to blame him of being especially inflammatory when others write things along the lines of "ship all the foreigners out of britain", or "its ok to be homophobic because its a real phobia" to grab just a couple is plain wrong. i don't necessarily agree with everything he says and see holes in many of his arguments but i appreciate where he's coming from.

its a shame that a thread started as a dedication to a dead WPC has turned into another episode of the perpetual LA vs peewee and gang soap opera, but a quick read through it will show the people who first misused it without applying too much brain power.

i'd like to see an example of one single poster on this forum who hasn't contradicted him/herself in some smaller or larger way, who hasn't made bullshit statements, or who hasn't made personal comments - and i include myself amongst a very long list. so why the feck do so many people feel the need to attack LA at every opportunity?

internet bullying and pack hunting are so easy to do, but so fucking pathetic.
