seeing as he's done the double over us with charlton this year.

So has Strachan and so has Wenger.............. Charlatan are well above their true position because the league is ***** below third. I mean ffs we've lost two games over the weekend and conceded a minus three GD and still we're sat in fourth!!!!!!  ???

Strachan and wenger are both very good managers. I think what curbishley has done at charlton is amazing. He's had no where near as much money as what GH has wasted.

He knows how the premiership works one thing i think maybe against managers from outside of the uk. But i don't think he'll come to us because charlton will probably be in europe next year and if we carry on as we are we won't even be in UEFA Cup. INTER TOTO here we come

Actually Strachen didn't do the double over us....Paul Sturrock was Southampton's manager when they beat us at St. Mary's.

Hiddink is no better than Houllier, and I simply cannot understand the logic behind Strachen at all.

My choices are: O' Neill, Mourinho, Magath, Ronald Koeman, Deschamps or Copello if we could convince Copello to come here.

No one mentioned John Toshack? I always though he should've took over from Evans to keep up the old Boot Room tradition. His continental experience will be valuable to us. He should have someone, probably Barnes or McAllister as assiatant.

Just because a manager does well with no money doesn't mean that they will do well given money to spend. Getting the best out of average players is a far cry from assembling a team of superstars and getting them to perform consistently and beat the likes of Arsenal and manu. Charlatan have been mediocre since Parker fooked off and have slid down the table like most sides out of their depth. I reckon it might be worth a bet they get relegated a la Ipswich next season, spurs will probably nab Curbishley on reputation.

In all honesty the league is ***** at the moment, that we are still not mathematically safe shows just how cr@p the Premiership is. A mere 18 points separating 4th from 18th is a joke

Marcello Lippi is still deciding where his future lies....Juve are a team very similar to us.....four star players and the others are all average but the way they fight for every ball is a trademark of lippi...He is used to french players so Cisse and mexes would relish him...:blues:

Liverpool need a young manager not old manager like Marcelo Lippi or else. I feel Joao Mourinho is the RIGHT man for the job, but Alan Curbishley would be good choice, but the problem is that he hasn't got any European experiences. David Moyes is good manager too but the problem is Everton wouldn't let him go to next door club.
I love to have Martin O'Neill to take over at Liverpool but can't him see to take over next season, because he want to continue with Celtic for another year but seem to me that he is waiting to see Alex Ferguson to retired at Man Utd, so that I reckon Martin O'Neill is more than keen to take over at Old Trafford than Anfield.

Martin O'Neill would be my first choice.
I wouldnt like any manager outside Britain or Ireland.

Martin O'Neill
then Strachen he's out of a job and might be interested.
Keegan ???  I dont know

"I would luv it if we beat united , luv it"

We could do  a lot worse than Curbishley, I dont accept that Charlton have slipped that much down the league since Parker left And Parkers promotion to the Charlton team and the release of Kinsella as a result was a master stroke of good management. Add to this his ability to compete against much higher funded teams and the ability to balance the books. i think the time is right for AC to step up into a prestige position and i'm not talking SPURS !!LOL

The Keegan quote was:

Live on Sky Television, Keegan said: 'I think you have to send a tape of the game to Alex Ferguson - isn't that (the Leeds performance) what he wants? You just don't say that about Leeds.

"I would love it if we could beat them. He's gone down a lot in my estimation. Football in this country is honest. You sometimes wonder about abroad but not in this country.

"I would love it if we beat them. Love it!"
