Houllier admits his side were well under-par as Shaun Bartlett secured Charlton's first victory at Anfield in more than 50 years.

The Reds have three of their remaining five games to play at Anfield, and Houllier is demanding maximum points as well as a return from the trips to either Manchester United or Birmingham over the coming weeks.

He said: "We're going to have to take maximum points from the games we have left to play at Anfield and we're also going to need a result from at least one of our two away matches.

"We're still in there fighting and I'm sure we won't play as badly as we did yesterday in any of the games coming up.

"It was a disappointing performance against Charlton and a missed opportunity to increase our cushion in fourth place. We don't have an advantage over anyone else now, but we are still there with a chance. It's not over."
''I kick :censored: and i take names. You're in my pocket. Shut your mouth. Rest your gums. I own you bitch.''
