I think we should play Moro and Cisse, they both scored in the break and if they're on a roll then keep them on it.

Team

             Reina
Finnan Carra Hyypia Warnock
Pongo Hamann Alonso Zenden
           Cisse Moro

2-0 to us.

I think it should be Morientes and Cisse up front too.
I've got this feeling that Moro will be knocking them in soon, just a matter of time.
I think Gerrard should be deployed on the right too.
Warnock should get the nod ahead of Derjimi everytime IMO.

All you lot have been doing is banging on about how need a settled team this season and now we have one you want to change it?

:no

Whats the point in changing something dramatically if its not broke? Sissoko's been poor as of late, so he's the only player i'd consider changing. If Riise is injured then it MUST be Warnock and not the clown. If the clown plays we WILL conceed.

No one wants to change the team but if Xabi is tired, and Luis and Riise are injured then they have to be replaced. Do they not?

I would start with:

              Reina

Finnan  Carragher  Hyypia  Riise

Gerrard  Sissoko  Hamann  Zenden

           Crouch  Cisse

SUBS: Carson, Morientes, Alonso, Kewell, Garcia.

While I'd consider to keep in the bench Luis Garcia (1) I'd put Morientes to play. He did a good job in Slovaquia. Not talking about the assist, but the team work he did holding the ball, while our wingers progressed. Very important. The more he plays, the better he does. He needs minutes, and we need his minutes.

Sabre

(1) Reason 1) He had little pain in the heel 2) He's going to play important CL matches 3) He's been playing lots of games

ONe of the most bloody tricky things to translate are bloody injuries. .

Not that he was injured. He was, as we say here, "touched". He had some little pain in the Achiles heel (I don't know how you call that). It's quite common to have some troubles in some sinews along the season, and many times players play under this circumstances. If you break the so called "Achiles heel sinew", you have one of the trickiest injury you can have in that zone. 4-6 months. So if you feel little pain, you'd rather stop to make the sinew rest.

I really hope to have made some sense up there, in some aspects of your language, I'm very constrained. :)

Thats a pretty good medical report sabre...and to do it in a foreign language is very impressive.

Luis was sub in the second leg, which should probably mean that its nothing much and that he will be fit for sat.

I read somewhere that Rafa had requested Luis not be started in the second leg to give him the rest...cant remember where or if its true but it would make sense with him being on the bench still....if he was genuinely injured they probably wouldnt of bothered making him travel to slovakia.

He was match fit, but we do have consideration towards the teams that provides us players; that debate was longly discussed here, and since then, Spanish Squad tries not to be agains the interests of the clubs unless it's necessary. Since we were qualified, we wouldn't put in Risk LG heel.

That's why recently Madrid had troubles with Beckham after the game he was sent off. Beckham wanted to be with the squad to make "group", to support them as he is the captain. But Madrid understood that since he couldn't play, he should return to the club at once. In this case I understand Real Madrid, as I'd understand a Liverpool fan that would complain if LG takes risks if not necessary.
