He's 23 years old, hardly young or reserves prospect

Thats the kind of signing I would like to see.

I don't think Bayern will want to sell Schweinsteigger and honestly, why would he want to leave bayern who are almost certain to win every Bundesliga title every season to come to play in a physically hard league like the EPL and still not sure what he will win? The EPL is a very tough league, perhaps not the most technical one but very tough.

He looks quality but of the Germans, Ballack is the best of the lot and Podolski is a very useful striker.

I think Podolski is gonna raise a few eyebrows at this years world cup the same way Rooney did at the Euros in 04. I remember he scored a cracker from outside the box in the confederations cup against mexico i think.

The clubs owner was quoted a while back as saying that he had made his mind up to move to Liverpool. Something about sowing the seeds then watching it grow ???
