I do enjoy a pie floater from Cafe Harry de Wheels (world famous Kings Cross late night cafe on wheels). It did terrible things to my digestive system a few hours later though. Nearly was divorsed over that!!   :D

I also used to enjoy a nice pork pie for lunch when we were in Britain. They're :censored: out here though.  :(

Isn't a pie floater a pommie dish?? I was always under the asumption it was, even though I first tried it in Sydney. :suspect:

Pie Floater = meat pie, mushy peas (+/- mashed spud) & lashings of gravy. Sound VERY English to me. VERY YUMMY though.
