My dad was in the pub last night, and one of those old name ten liverpool players questions popped up, and we are stumped. Help required :

"Name ten Liverpool players who have captained the reds and also captained England"

We have got the following up to now:

Emlyn Hughes
Steven Gerrard
Michael Owen
Kevin Keegan
Phil Neal
Ray Clemence ( not sure on this one)

Any help would be greatly aprreciated........

I think Phil Thompson has been captain for England once time.

Paul Ince did it too.

Jamie Carragher did it captain for England only 25 minutes.

IM NOT SURE IF RAY KENNEDY EVER PLAYED CAPTAIN , I KNOW HE HAD A FEW CAPS FOR ENGLAND THOUGH ,JUST NOT SURE IF HE GOT THE ARMBAND ,BUT INCE DEFINITELY ,AND CARRAGHER WHEN IT WAS PASSED TO NUMEROUS PLAYERS IN THAT FARCE OF A FRIENDLY
