Cisse - a failure? - Exchange him for andy cole!

i think the onus is on cisse bcos he cost more than nando and crouch combined.

we (or perhaps I'm the only one) know that cisse is not a world-class striker. poor touch, dismal header, cant beat defenders (even with pace).

but somehow he managed to be the top scorer in our team. his stats sorta backs him up. think he deserves a chance even if he continues to play like this until the end of season.

rafa should stand up and be counted now. no more blaming the old regime for this purchase. cisse has the attributes of a great athelete. henry was sh!t as a striker before he went to arsenal. so if rafa's man-management is good enough, he will make cisse good enough for liverpool. thus said, if cisse fails at liverpool, it's as much rafa's fault as it is cisse's.

ok it's silly for me to compare Cisse to Cole the Scum... sorry about that

for him being the top scorer of our team doesn't mean he's a good scorer.. it's just nando and crouchy are doing equally poor - all our strikers are not doing their jobs.

indeed we created quite a lot of counter attack opportunities for the quick Cisse and most of them are wasted. Let's take Gerrard's long pass to Cisse today.. he shot it into the chest of Sorensen after some poor controls.  No shot placement, no control..

and his passes never reach the teammates inside the box.... :blues: well i am happy to see him scoring but it's more discouraging to see him wasting the chances again and again

Cisse like Baros is horrible when it comes to one on one. Whenever he's one on one with the keeper most of the times he shoots straight at him.

Watching Sissy and Baros makes you realise just how good Michael Owen was.

3 points an away win after a CL game and people still using Cisse as a scapegoat, call yourselves supporters, feckin joke.
For those of you whom have forgotten Michael Owen left Liverpool to win things (not that he hadnt won enough already) walked out on our beloved club, goes to Madrid for 1 season warming his @rse, and is now playing for a sh#t club with a sh#t manager that wont win f@ck all.
Do I wont MO back no I :censored: dont, Rafa will bring Dirk Kuijt in or a class striker that will put the ball in the back of the net.
As far as Im concerned Its MO loss that he hasnt got a CL medal and it would'nt suprise me if he missed out on 2 IF we go on to win it in gay paree.

Oh and another thing Morientes 1 goal, Cisse 10, Crouch 0 and he is still getting grief unbelivable, some of you really are.

I changed my mind about MO when he could have blattently refused Newcastle and turned there 16 million pound bid down to come back to the club he is supposed to love, instead he choose his England career and the money, so he doesnt deserve the respect to wear the Liverpool jersey. oh and BTW how often I change my knickers has feck all to do with you.

Cisse was farkin diabolical against the Aston Martins last night........

You can't disagree that this was his worst performance in a reds jersey. I can't believe so many have jumped to this man's rescue. He is a Heskey-in-disguise, a walking liability, an irratating s.o.b if you ask me.

Everytime he is one on one with the keeper what does he do..... he shoots it straight at him, I have noticed that he scores many 'lucky' goals this way, i.e. earlier this week against the Belgiums and most notably 2 in the Super Cup.

10 goals, whoop-de-doo with the chances he has had he should be up to 20 for fark sake. I can't stand those that deflect this attention by bringing out our other other strikers. Nando and Crouch have been awful but they have not had the open chances Cisse is getting time and time again.

The last rant i will make is the body language he is showing on the field. His complaining and whining is now starting to really p.i.s.s. me off when a midfielders pass does not find him. I noticed that Gerrard was not happy with his dismal performance and in one instance i noticed that he gave him this almighty greasing off, like saying "Can't dribble, can't pass and can't even control the ball, record club record fee, my a.r.s.e." Also got the same feeling from Benitez everytime this clown farked up.

Sell Cisse. He aint worth it.

Ok if ya say so.
But :censored: me if we do sell Cisse like your all crying out for, and Rafa doesnt buy another striker, Id like to see your reactions come April when we arnt even in the wafer cup and in the bottom half of the table, plod along with your complaining. No he is not the greatest striker in the world but he has the most goals for Liverpool Football club this season and looks like the only striker we have at the moment of scoring.
But go on rip him to bits it will do his confidence the world of good.
As it will Luis and Fernando's oh and for what its worth Cisse nor Morientes had no service what so ever today.
But go on blame them and not the players around them that should be providing them with balls to score.

So without Cisse we can't score goals? What a fecking joke. He's scored 2 goals in the Premiership, 8 in Europe. Putting Europe aside, he's the most likely player on the pitch in the Premiership on our squad to miss chance after chance.

We're not a one man team. If we can win games without Gerrard than we can win games without Djibril fecking Cisse. He will be sold, whether it's in January or in the summer he will not be a Liverpool player.

He's the perfect player for a counter-attacking team, a team that puts ten men behind the ball and depends on a player like Cisse to get on the end of the balls via his speed.
