i don't go along with the '100 posts before oyu can start a new topic' rule that ian and karim we're discussing back there. the reason i joined this forum is because there was a serious issue about LFC i wanted to raise and discuss (it was about not wanting to accept dirty thai money if anyone cares). the only way was to start a new topic.

i guess that many newbies join up because there is a point they want to make, so let them make it. depending on the validity of that point and the way it is expressed the newebie will either get good responses or a merciless public flagelation. either way its fun

agree 100% andy. RAWK has a good system where people can be banned from starting new topics in the Liverpool discussion section for constant new topics which are rubbish, offensive etc.

That could work, but the no new topics until 100 posts is unfair IMO.

That thought did cros my mind actually Andy too,and I was going to add yesterday, that if the 100 post thing was to take affect, then you could post a new topic, but maybe the Mods would have to clear it, just to make sure of not repeating an existing thread or that it is enough to spark a debate of some kind (I can talk after repeating a thread that STMICK started a few weeks ago in Gen Chat!! So maybe I need to take note myself eh? :laugh:

)
