Houllier does seem to buy players, play them out of possition and then dump them when they don't perform, prime example is Smicer cos he was class at Lens and for Czech Republic and then we buy him and play him on the right rather than upfront where he has always played *confused*

Good point but not entirly true. He may see something in the style a player plays that suggests that they could play better in another postion. Henry was a winger before Wenger turned him into a striker.

Did I just compare Houllier to Wenger?

not that im defending houllier or anything, but smicer was good in france and at international level but will never be a premiership player, hes too bloody weak and slow
