Liverpool vs fulham - Thoughts for the match at fulham

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Is the rest of the team relying on Steve G to much?.

At the moment, it just seems that when he isn't playing, nobody seems to be able fire the players up (then again, they shouldn't need firing up).

We need leaders in every position with verve, spirit and guts to take every game by the scruff of the neck and make it count.

I sat through 92mins,58secs of total rubbish last week at anfield(Cisse's goal took 2 secs)& a blind man could see the writing on the wall.We have no heart,no desire,no fire in our bellies, yes fine in europe we manage only because it's a totally different style of football but as for the league, the title, the holy grail we are light years behind & for me until we buy quality English,Irish,Scots or welsh youngsters that have that desire, heart & fire we haven't a prayer for the next 5..maybe 10 yrs of even dreaming of the title. Now as for all those who will say I'm overeacting after 1 result maybe you folks need to look deep into yourselves & stop fooling yourselves that this team is actually capable of any sort of challange for the title or maybe it's me not watching us at anfield maybe i was at crewe was it well they do play in red!!..Rubbish..Rubbish..Rubbish...11 fans from the kop would have more desire..heart..& fire...

Rafa is pretty stubborn.....(major flaw IMO). He will continue to play josemi & morientes....we ain't gonna win lots of points if these 2 keep playing...

Kewell come's back from an injury and was our best player and that still isn't enough for some  ???

So Baros ain't good enuff....then cisse ain't good enuff ...now kewell ain't good enuff...

So lets get rid of all our talented players and replace them with those who would struggle to complete 100 metres in 1 minute  :glare:

What a :censored: joke of a display, that's well and truly ruined my weekend.

If you're going to play Josemi and Traore as your full backs what do you expect though?  They're both :censored: useless.

Benitez has to take some of the flak for this one.  Starting Kewell?  WTF? If he drops a stone or so then ok, but I can't understand that.

We were crying out for 4-4-2 today, and Benitez didn't dissapoint, but it still didn't work.  This tells me that it's not the formation that's the problem here, whether it's 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 we still have the same problems.

The real problem?  The real problem is that there's not enough fight in this team.  4 away prem games and no wins, players are shirking their responsibilities here, they don't want it enough.  Gerrard is the only one with a bit of fight in an attacking sense.  He's the one that gets the team going.  Without him we've got no balls.

There is something seriously wrong with the mentality of our players here and Benitez needs to get it sorted quick.  Today is far from good enough.  The way things are going it's going to be like last season all over again, except without the champions league win.

Our team has 10 times the talent of that Fulham side FFS, I'm disgusted with that defeat :no

no, i am not saying that, we can all see what RB is doing (josemi & morientes and others) so the board should have a word with him, and it should go like this  " win the next 4 games or on your bike"

If LFC was run by the supporters we as a club would be no more "Shall he stay" or "Should he go" that's why there is a board of sellect few who sort out these things and stranger things have happened nobody is indespensible.

But we will all argue the toss, i just wounder if in 10 matches time if we have only won two games i wonder what the generall concensus will be? hmmm that's a strange one.

Rafa picks the team Rafa makes decisions Good and Bad that's why he's manager and we all have to just support him untill at such time the chairman and members of the board think otherwise or untill individuals get so pis..sed that they don't give a hoot what anybody thinks about thier comments.
