Welcome.

What's with the Spanish?  Have you lived there?  The reason I ask is that I'm going to Mojacar (Almeria) on Saturday and was wondering if it's worth looking for a match to go to.

No he's not mate, but he's Runcorn's answer to Guillem Balague!

I didn't think Runcorn had any answers!

Nah! mate your thinking of widnes. They're all in-bred over there 'cos of the dodgy toxic fumes in the air;   Runcorn is home to it's more intelligent neighbours.

As for looking for any footy to go to there isn't much going in that area of spain. There is the local almeria club(not sure where they play) but they are in the second division; for top flight la liga footy the nearest team is Malaga, and they aren't doing that well either. It is definately worth trying to get to a game if you can though 'cos it's a totally different experience to footy matches in britain.

Happy hols matey!

Malaga v Real Betis, 16:00 on Sunday looks tempting but it might be too far from Mojacar.

Cheers.

Forgot to mention that if you do make it down to Malaga they are redeveloping their ground so it's got a reduced capacity at the moment.
