Finnan - No charges

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I've tried to find the original thread but to no avail, so you'll have to have a new topic i'm afraid. I've just heard on the radio that steve finnan will not face any charges as a result of the road accident a few months back in which he ran over a pensioner who subsequently died, police have said that there is insufficient evidence for a prosecution

i'm glad this saga has finally been put to bed, this must be a huge weight off finnan's mind and hopefully he can concentrate 100% on his footy again

Is it just me or has he actually been playing better since this whole thing started?

Anyway, it can't be good having something like that hanging over him, good news for him

Of all the footballers around, I couldn't ever imagine Finnan being a wreckless driver. Good for the lad that the cops have dropped the prosecution.

I don't think Finnan is a wreckless driver mate, that's what accident's like this are put down to if the Police investigation show's they maybe could have avoided the incident with better care or whatever. But in my opinion, what can you do if some one step's right out in front of you?

Anyway, great new's for Steve.

Thank God for that ,what the poor bloke must have gone through.
He still has to come to terms with it although found innocent.

And lets not forget the poor old bugger who got hit :(

I can only imagine how that must have been on his mind at all times. Good for him for keeping focused during matches.
