Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Kewell and Garcia had similar first seasons I just hope Harry comes back and we see the real Harry Kewell not the sh.1te we've seen for the past 12-18 months :(

I reserve the right to (final) judgement on Kewell once I see him back from rehab. If he is lean and cut, then he has been working on his rehibilitation, and all is forgiven (well once he starts scoring). If he shows up overweight however (and it will show immediatly) he should be sold. A groin injury will make an excellent player look poor, so if he was truly injured then it is a ligitimate reason for poor play. However Kewell owes the club the hard work and motivation that it takes to recover, and it will show on his body. He should be in the gym daily if he is serious about finding his old form.

kewell has to be given a chance to prove himself but for me he's on f*ckin thin ice, he's had his injuries but you can't argue against the fact that even when fully fit he's a bone-idle cunt

sure he's got the talent but we can't persevere for ever waiting for him to show it. hopefully he can get a few months under his belt injury-free to ressurrect his career and show us he can fulfil his star billing, otherwise it's time to ship him out somewhere

i've phoned him a few times offering to keep his missus fulfilled for him whilst he's lying on his death-bed with another broken nail but strangely enough he hasn't returned my calls and has had a restraining order put on me   ???

Kewell had a really rough time! but your forgetting that what he did in the first season at anfield was just brilliant! scoring 12 goals and always been consistant.

He still can do that... he is very talented and i hope he can prove that he isn't a sh*tty player. im backing him up right now, but if he doesnt produce the goods then im afraid he should leave.

I tell you folks, it is all about his weight. If he is cut and lean, then he well play well, if not then he does not want to be a footballer.

if we look at all ex-Leed player-kewell, viduka, woodgate, bowyer, danny mills, we will find some similiarity. they are not performing like they did when they played for Leeds. they always injured or suspended. can anybody pick ex-leeds player that playing superbly for their club at the moment

Paul Robinson is in great form and has improved so much since leaving leeds.
Though i take your point with most of the players.

:D I don't get involved as a rule in the spats myself but do occasionally enjoy reading 'em. This is precisely the reason why, because mixed in with all the other nonsense and name-calling, you get a piece of probably unintentional comic genius. I mean no disrespect whatsoever to Judge or anybody else involved in this disagreement but this line killed me. It must be my purile sense of humour but I'm still laughing now thinking about it.
Playground humour at it's absolute finest. Thankyou.  :D  :D

:D

Kewell was superb as a teenager at Leeds and was genuinely world class up until about 2002, before his form took a nose dive.

When he comes back he better perform, otherwise its the end of him.
