What about Didier Deschamps?
He's doing a brilliant job at Monaco (last night's 8-3 win is only the tip of the iceberg).

Juventus are reputably have their eye on him as Lippi's replacement (Lippi is 64).

Possibly a good choice but another Frenchman? Once bitten twice shy!

does anyone fancy Steve Mcmahon he used to be a great player, perhaps with his experience at Blackpool he could be a man to consider, like to see a liverpool old boy back at the helm

Talking to a couple of Ex Liverpool players at the match today they were quite serious about the likelyhood of a Dalgleish/McMahon partnership.
There have been approaches made.

Jeez, now that would be a shock!!

Love to see Kenny back but he's been out of management a long time and I have to admit I haven't really followed McMahon's progress at Blackpool.

Food for thought though ?!  ???

Would indeed be great to see Kenny back at Anfield but I'm not sure he'd get us to where we need to be. He's been out of the game too long and imo wasn't overly fantastic when he managed us first time round. He inherited a side who could take on the world so didn't need to do anything revolutionary. I'm certainly not in favour of McMahon as a manager. A mate of mine is a season ticket holder at Bloomfield Road and the concensus of opinion up there is that he's not much to write home about. If he can't inspire Blackpool I don't hold out much hope for him at LFC. Maybe in a coaching role under another manager (Kenny?) though.

Why dont we make bart simpson the manager! Everyone else is being mentioned. Mcmahon, Molby, Dalglish, i'm fed up with the old boys being mentioned. We need to have a new direction and for that we need an outsider like Oneill, Mourinho, Hiddink or Allardyce.

I'm not just saying Curbishley because of the weekend but he has done an excellent job there and built a solid foundation, similar to O'Neill at Leicester. If we can't get MON, I'd like Curbishely.

I don't believe in giving the job to an ex-player with a bit of management experience. Give it to the best manager out there, I mean Wenger never played at a high level but I wouldn't say no.

I don't want Dalglish either, started off buying Beardsley but by the end was dropping him and actually bought Jimmy Carter! nuff said.

So has Strachan and so has Wenger.............. Charlatan are well above their true position because the league is ***** below third. I mean ffs we've lost two games over the weekend and conceded a minus three GD and still we're sat in fourth!!!!!!  ???
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
