Hmmm... yeah total sh##e that.

Do you not think he might be trying to ease the rediculous pressure all these so called *fans* put on the players and club?

I know if i was a manager at the moment i'd be looking to build confidence myself not shatter it even more.

hey c'on Stu. how much those players earn? if they choose to be there they have to take all the pressure. A good manager just simply tell his players to go out there to do the business or face the sack. U been defending for all kind of cr#p

Stu why do you believe we will be succesful with houllier as manager? what the hell is wrong with you? do you watch us play? do you actually believe we play good football and that we will actually challenge the likes of arsenal and man u?

That not an insult?

Good football? We have played some fantastic football under GH and won some very difficult games. We came close to winning the league and amassed a superb points tally, reached the quarter finals of the Champions League won 4 major cups, were consistently beating the mancs until recent shitty circumstances, we consistently beat the blueshite which we never did under Evans.

Last season was a total dissapointment and errors in the transfer market were made. Houllier made mistakes, s##t happens. There is no need to crusify the man for it. This season we are as far behind as we are because of a stupid amount of injuries, its cost us alot of form and alot confidence this season. Next sesaon when he improves the squad and first 11 again we will see a massive difference.

We understand early season we had a lot of injuries problem which may cause the team to lose its cohesion, but what is frustrating is the way GH always blames others for the results. Confidence should be shown in the style of play which we adopt, do you think our current style has any confidence.
Results don't lie, even though GH thinks we creates the most chances of all the teams, but if chances are not taken, its just a stat of no importance in the end.
We hope next season is his final chance to prove his ability, anything less than a serious challenge to the chanmpionship is consider a failure. And by then, hope he will step down.

I'm with stu on this one.  Houllier has done  good job for Liverpool, perhaps not in the last 18 months but I doubt you were so eager to praise when he was doing well.  f##k, you're all so damn critical.  Give the man a break, he may not be the best manager in the history of time and space but geez, he's who we have!  When he's gone you should support the new manager while he's here you should be supporting him not saying
'he's f##king s##t'
'i f##king hate him'
'i wish the board would sack him' add nausea.

He has done a job for liverpool and, especially a few years back, he started to bring back a little greatness to this club that had been fading since its peak.  Now let the man do his job.

Look right confidence comes from knowing your job and doing it on a regular basis. The sides of a few years ago played a certain way and all shown confidence in that system hence the reason we done as well as we did. We are now not doing so well. Alot of this is due to a lack of confidence and lack of momentum which was caused by the injury problems earlier in the season. We are starting to show glimpses now in the last 5 games that we can get back to being a good side again, 3 wins and 4 clean sheets in our last 4 league games.

Hopefully we can finish the season in style then take it from there.
