Well, Chelsea came for a draw - no doubt about it.  We didn't let them play though, and if they had wanted to rethink their gameplan they couldn't.  They had a 10 minute spell in the first half, and a 5 minute spell in the second, other than that we were by far the better side.  Perhaps in some way a goal would have put even more 'revenge' emphasis on Sunday.  I'm confident we'll win that, we're the side that have been robbed.  2 penalties turned down, both clear, plus a possible third.  From the TV it looked like Xabi had won it, but you have to wonder if that would have fired Chelsea up beyond belief for Sunday.  And that IS the more important of the two games.

We have to win it, its that simple.  And if we play like we did tonight, we will win.  I think this shows why a bought team will always have the potential to come unstuck.  Tonight our boys were brought together by passion and determination - provided in a large part by the crowd.  When facing that a plastic team will usually come unstuck, whereas they will be fine against other hollow clubs.  3 points are coming out way on Sunday, and although the league has been bought and not won again this season, we could well finish second.

we looked very good tonight, but the players have to start stepping it up in every game not just big games like this. they have the wrong mentality at the moment, whereby they play their socks off in big games and big games only, they have to start doing this week in week out. great performance, played some nice attractive football at times and we deserved to win. Alonso looked back on form, and our positioning defensively was superb. hats off to the Reds! great football.

Well 0-0 game but I think it was a nice football game.

I've read here that Chelsea fans are arrogant, but that must be only when they speak, since in the pitch Chelski were cautious, very cautious.

Another draw might seem not sufficient, but I think that Chelsea won't win easily in Sevilla, and by all accounts one draw and one win is a good balance until now.

If you think that Liverpool were superior, it's not because your love to Liverpool: Spanish commentators on C+ deportes (I missed Michael Robinson today, he can't avoid yelling "yes" in english when L'pool scores) said there was only one team in the pitch who deserved to win, and that few teams are capable of making Chelski to back off the way Liverpool has.

I have faith on this blokes.
