If you have joaquin though, then you must have a right back that does not go much to attack. He won't defend, he won't press. Regularity? 2 out of 3 games he's crucial in Betis performance, and I don't recall having much troubles with injuries, which is always important to the team. On the bad side, his attitude when the team is losing (he's a bit of a ball hog) and his teamwork rate. Having him on the right wing, and Alonso making his easy receivable long balls, other teams shoud have their defence wide open. Meaning, it's not only what he could provide, but Gerrard would have more meters and space to make harm.

That's the stereotype. The reality is that the whole Betis roster, made a huge party with lots of girls in the middle of the season some years ago . At least the girls were young, unlike Rooney's![]()
Joaquin does not speak a single word of english though, and doesn't seem to have been brilliant at school. That worries me . But I'd say thumbs up to that signing
