Footy in this country is definitely dominated by London and the North West. To an extent that's where the population are, but Birmingham is the second largest city to it's not strictly the case that population brings success. Here are the regions of the teams in the EPL in their current positions:
London London North West North West North West London North West London London North East North West North West North East Midlands Midlands South Midlands London North East North West
1) The top half is dominated by London and the North West. 2) The 3 Midlands teams are all in the bottom 7 positions. 3) And the most glaring irregularity is that one North West team is bottom of the pile...I can't think who that might be though.
