Champions League (Chelsea) tickets went on sale today for fancard holders. I automatically got mine last year for signing up for an e.season ticket on LFC.tv (which I pay £39.99 per year) I also registered my son's name so I could take him to the matches. Last year we went to all of the champions league games including the final. This year, we have already been to every qualifying game.
This morning, my wife phoned up for our tickets (I have been on nights and was in bed). The ticket sales refused me a ticket sayin that I wasn't a fancard holder because I have never payed for one!
My wife asked to speak to a supervisor who also refused (she said that she phoned the club to get authorisation and they refused - which turns out to be a lie). They said that would have to apply for new fancards by post and pay a small charge -FFS the tickets are on sale TODAY!
The missus phoned me an hour ago to break the bad news. Fuming I was! I thought I'd give it ago myself Low and behold, the operator I got sold me a ticket without questioning it. I gave here the two fancard numbers and my personal datails, and now I am the proud owner of two Kop tickets for the Chelsea game.
The point of this thread is How dare some jobsworth slag in a call center hold loyal fans happiness in their sweaty little fat hands! HOW DARE THEY!!!
Has anyone else encountered any similar problems?
