A canundrum - Champions league or a new manager?

Obviously, I want both, but if I choose finishing fifth and a new manager comes in, i don't want to wait another year for champions league so im choosing GH staying and getting into CL

Houllier out. If that means finishing fifth then so be it.

But if we get fourth spot, and Houllier keeps his job, then we will have another season of mediocrity and certainly no progress in the CL because we are just not good enough.

We need to bring Houllier's reign to an end if this club is to have any chance of porgressing.

Hopefully we'll finish 4th and GH will decide to go gracefully but that isn't realistically going to happen.

It pains me to say it but I'd miss out on the champions league this time if it mean't getting a new manager in next season.

It's not being petty or personal, I don't dislike GH personally and appreciate the things he has done in his time LFC but just think another year of stagnation under GH would be more damaging than missing out on the CL.

Very true. How many more of our better players are going to start (like Owen) wondering if they would be better off playing elsewhere. If Owen does leave us , the responsibility lies directly with Foolier.

100% agree. The issue isn't just whether we can make the Champions League, but whether the players we have worth keeping stay. A season of getting laughed at in Europe will get us no nearer the league title, it could quite easily see what little is left of what Houllier has achieved walk away on a Bosman or transfer request
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
