Many cu'nts keep suggesting and hoping that we (LFC) aren't as great as we used to be ,but by my reckoning we've won more honours this century than any other english club . I make it eight in total .
1 fa cup ,2 league cups , 1 charity shield , 1 uefa cup ,2 european super cups and 1 european champions league cup .

Has anyone of the socalled "big three " eclipsed this record ?

All teams take note:

In terms of honours - Liverpool are currently the most successful team of all time - this century!

referring to the topic starters comments-doubt it,liverpool have always had a good trophy record!

i want liverpool to win the prem this season and i think you can do it and i think that is the only peice of the jigsaw that is missing from the 21st century liverpool!

and the good thing is that liverpool are the under-dogs to win the prem,but you were the under-dogs for the champs league aswell and look what happend! :;):

I agree.

We are the most successful cup team in England this decade.

Man UTD and Arsenal fans used to say we won Mickey Mouse cups, but the Champions League and the UEFA Cup are hardly Mickey Mouse.

I hate the constant talk of the "big three" these past two years. We have won more trophies than the others this decade and while admittedly, we are not as competitive as we would like in the league, all of our cups should earn us far more respect than they have.

In twenty years time people won't be that bothered that Man UTD and Arsenal were strong league teams who were part of an elite group in the Premiership that always finished miles ahead of the team in 4th place. No, people will look back at trophies won, and our European Cup last season is more impressive than anything the "big three" have done since 1999.

Thats a fact.

The Champions League dwarves the Premiership in prestiege. Alex Ferguson would happily trade at least three Premiership trophies for another Champions League trophy. Chelsea were absolutely gutted last season that they didn't win it, despite winning the Premiership in style and also the League Cup. For all of Arsenal's success since 1998 they are in danger of being remembered as being the team that failed in Europe.

The league once was our bread and butter and we are all itching to win it again, but for most clubs, a shot at winning the Champions League never comes. We have 5: more than Barcelona, Inter Milan, Man UTD, Arsenal, Chelsea, Rangers, Celtic, Valencia, Benfica, Porto, PSV, Bayern Munich, Fiorentina, CSKA Moscow, Marseille, PSG, PSV, Ajax, Foyenord, Juventus, Lazio, Roma, etc etc etc.

With Rafa at the helm there'll be plenty more trophies winging their way to Anfield over the coming years.

we will win the league in the next two seasons,rafa is surely building a squad for that objective,at the moment we are a better team in europe

This is true MO but I think we are a lot closer this season than we realise-
Its a long season and our purple patch will come and if we are still in with a shout we could very well suprise a lot of people
