They wouldn't let you in then ?  :D

To be truthful though I'm getting carried away with it all to be honest and I feel really confidant about the fixture. This not scoring or conceding has to end sometime so maybe for a change the game will live up to all the pre match hype and be a cracker  :wwww

Back to the game ........I think there will be a bit of jiggery pokery early on then a bit of argy bargy and whatever the result we will enjoy reminding the Scum who are the most successful side in the history of English football   :wwww

I'll go for 1-0, Gerrard midway through the 1st half

I looked over at what the Mancs had to say. Most are confident that they can win, they feel that we carry no real threat of scoring a goal and that they can dominate the midfield.

Traore is the best as against Ronaldo.... His long sweeping legs and speedy runs and roughness is just what Ronaldo needs to slow down.

Whereas for Rooney its Josemi.... I think Finann is better than Josemi but playing in the right midfield backed by Josemi would stop Rooney.. Josemi is rougher and Rooney will be :censored:.. everyone knows Rooney's stupidity rate is 100/100 hence he will react and get another red :D

Josemi is too slow compared to Rooney, yes he is aggressive but he can get easily caught of ouf position by Rooney and even Josemi can make a rash tackle and get sent off instead.

Ronaldo won't be at the top of his game as his father died recently.

Man Utd will have Gary Neville, Heinze Beans and Keane Missing on Sunday. We will never have a better chance to turn them over.

people on here thinking we are gonna win 3-0 are exagerating slightly. We will only win by that margin if we play out of our skin. remember, we have not been able to score really in the premiership so far.

Also, Alonso Gerrard and Sissoko will not all play at the start.
People have suggested Warnock over traore??? you've got to be joking. Traore was immense versus Betis.

We should play IMO :

              Reina.

Finnan Carra Hyypia  Traore

                 Hamann

     Gerrard   Sissoko   Risse

                  Garcia
              Ciise/ Crouch

Subs: Alonso Zenden warnock  Josemi etc

If they play Alan Smith in Midfield, we are gonna breeze the midfield, but whether we can score or not is a lottery.

I think Alan Smith might suprise us and turn in a cracking performance and Ronaldo will be looking to football for some relief after his fathers death i think we'll need to keep a big eye on those two.. anyway heres wat i would go with

                 Reina
Finnan Carragher Hyypia  Traore
                 Alonso
  Gerrard    Sissoko   Riise
            Cisse   Crouch
bench:  carson, josemi, hamann, garcia, pongolle

I was too overzealeous to play Finnan on the right together with Gerrad and Xabi and Ssisoko in the defensive midfeild. I lost cout. Sorry !

But i can tell you Xabi can be in Sub and come in later in the 60th min for Josemi where Finan can move back and Gerrard to the right    :wwww

Garcia comes in the 60-65 min too to replace Pongole and keep the Man U bz defending

crouch come for Ciise in the 80 min and provide continuous freshness to the strike force.

Neville Ferdinand  O shea and Brown and whoever in the defence will have to match our attack full 90 min.

They dont have strikers other than Smith Looney and Nestle Roy... So its rather predictable if they star off with Looney  and Nestle Roy... they have to replace with Smith at some point. then I dont think they can sustain our attack with Keane is out. But park and Ronaldo we have to watch Giggs and Schools might be full 90 min.

Man U wil play long passes too and surely on the wings They depend too much on the wings.

with Traore marking Ronaldo And Josemi marking Park tightly we have a good chance of keeping clean sheet.. Make sure no silly free kicks out of D box where Giggs wil try to score.

we'll see

Good morning.

I hear that Brown is injured as well. I reckon with the fit players they have this is how they will lineup.

-------------------------Van Der Sar

---Oshe--------Silvestre---------Ferdinand---------Kleberson

--------Fletcher-----------Smith-----------Scholls

-------Ronaldo-------------RVN--------------Rooney

Subs - Howard, Giggs, Park, Phillip Bardsley and someone else.

Its a fairly decent side which could only be stronger if Henize and Keane were in it. I think their major problems lie in defense. Their front 3 are very capable and Fletcher is a good young player who I rate. Scholls will be El Capitan and he will need to step his game up for this one. Rooney will be all over the pitch and will be the box to box man playing as defender, midfielder and attacker. Expect RVN to be sharp and a predator in the box, also if my analysis is correct Ronaldo will be on top form. He has just lost his father and such a rush of emotions often brings the best out of a player.

Weak link - Kleberson. Though a good player on the left, his defensive side to the game raises questions. I don’t think he is capable of putting those tackles in and being smart in difficult situations the way Heinze is. He can be easily exposed provided Zenden has a good game. Heinze will miss most of the season due to injury, its always sad when such players get injured and I wish him a good recovery.

Liverpool -

I expect to see a lineup of

--------------------------------Reina

-----Finnan-----------Carra----------------Hyypia---------Traore

--------------------------------Alonso

------------------Gerrard---------------------Sisoko

------Garia------------------------------------------------Zenden

---------------------------------Crouch

Subs - Carson, Risse, Warnok, Hamman, Cisse.

Im a bit confused about the lineup to be honest. Its a possibility to see Warnok in at LB and CIsse and Crouch start the game with Garcia or Zenden on the bench, TBH id like to see a diamond with Alonso as DMF, Gerrard and Sissoko on the sides, Garcia at the tip and Cisse & Crouch upfront. But Rafa is manager not me (I know I know ud rather have me :p )

I expect a big performance from Gerrard, Alonso and Sisoko. These 3 IMO will be the key players in the game, and more so now that Keane isnt there as it would give them a relatively easier ride in controlling the MF which would lead to controlling the game. Someone is going to be deployed on Rooney with another player as backup, Rooney and Ronaldo both need 2 players shading them, especially if they are on form. Sissoko and Gerrard will have to keep that defensive responsibility in mind.

Im not going to predict a score, but I feel this is a game Liverpool HAVE to win - there are no 2 ways about it. As for Manu, they will be looking at winning this game after their draw with City, which sets this clash to be an exciting and fast paced one. One things for sure - im not going for a draw.

Cheers

Scholls? I'm assuming you mean Scholes. I don't think Kleberson will play because he doesn't have the match fitness, it will be Richardson at LB instead who played there against Villareal and has played for Man Utd in the last couple of games.

I don't expect to see Zenden playing, Riise instead. Riise is more energetic and this is the type of game he is up for.

.                     Reina

Finnan   Carragher    Hyypia     Traore

             Alonso      Sissoko

          Gerrard                 Riise

                    Luis Garcia

                    Crouch

Oops.

I meant Richardson, Kleberson is sold or is going to be sold ... or is sold actually to some spanish outfit if im not mistaken. And he is a DMF not a defender!

Yes Paul Scholes! :D
