4 matches at home and 4 away. United and Arsenal away  :D I reckon they get 12 pts in all ! Is that enough to get 4th?

Three wins ,two draws and we miss 4th place by one point. Thats the price for not taking max points earlier in the season against the likes of leicester , portsmouth etc :(

We have to go to Highbury, Old Trafford and St. Andrew. I think we are good enough to win one of these games or make two draws. Then we have to pick up at least nine points home to Blackburn, Boro, Fulham and Charlton. Finally we have to beat Newcastle. So we need 2/3+9+3= 15/16points out of 24. This means we have to pick 2 out of every three points left. So far this season we have managed only 1,5 out of 3....

Working on Houllier's record, I'd say 14 points. Works for the last 8 games, why not the next 8?

i guess against the big guns there's no problem...i think we will go for the draw .....butt...
i'm afriad of the smaller teams...we did'nt do well against them this year ...anyway  i have faith
and confident  in liverpool and i think they  will deliver on the last day against Newcastle.... :D

And this add up to how many points, Dav ? 6 as far as i could tell - but it was only 6 matches in your analysis ! :(

Pretty daunting looking next five fixtures - Blackburn, Arsenal, Charlton, Fulham and Man Utd

Used to be the other way round, they'd all be daunted at the thought of playing us. Not any more, apart from Blackburn they'll all be pretty confident of getting a result against us
