Its pretty bad in my parts as well, although no queues or shortages yet.

My local garage is very cheap (relatively speaking), at about 111cent a litre, but many garages in Dublin are more than 130cent a litre.

Why bother queing its just adding to this scaremongering.Ther is no way fuel will not get through. The protesters had the government by the balls last time, there is no way that will be allowed to happen again.
People queing for fuel they dont need are creating shortages, lazy b@stards who cant walk the kids to school of a morning,or need to get to hairdressers for 4 hours of coffee and gossip. You know who Iam talking about dont ye.

WE'RE ALL DOOOOOMED!!!!!!!

Seriously though I've got a young familiy and was a little worried yesterday and so, filled up. I am glad I did cause the cues were alot worse this morning and now 3 local stations have closed( including morrisons). I may wave and point at the ever increasing pedestrians over the coming days, safe in the knowledge that I'm alright jack.
DOOMED I TELLS YA!

I filled up at 9.30 last night and there was already a 20min queue, having said that I was running on fumes so had no choice

5 years ago during the last protests they were only letting vital workers (nurses, firemen etc) have more than £5 of  petrol at a time. A mate of my wife is a nurse so we were getting her to use her NHS ID card and go and fill up all our cars for us :D
