Sounds like some are wishing the worst for our Liverpool's players like Morientes.

Support 'em all, or buy yourself a Chelsea top from JJB's

??? Why should I buy a Chelsea top? Fact is Cisse is better than Morientes and Crouch scored more goals than he did last season, I will give him till chrimbo then if he doesnt cut the mustard he will have to go, rafa's mate or not no time for favourites. And dissrespecting others that break there legs and the board being sneaky behind his back trying to sell him, it doesnt wash with me Im afraid even Baros is better than Morientes he got shipped out aswell, in favour of El Morro.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Nah, I think it's good from the point of view that Cisse will now get a run in the team, not that Moro is out injured. Cisse needs a run to start scoring and get his confidence back up.

I'm with Lynds on this one. This "get behind the lads" stuff is all very well but this is a forum after all and people are entitled to their opinions. It's not even as if either me or her are serial sceptics, it's purely a question of whether or not your opinion is that a player is likely to do the business for Liverpool or not. The debate isn't I think whether or not Nando is a good player, most everyone would accept that he has ability. It's simply whether or not he'll cut it for us. I don't think he will but I don't wish him injured. I also agree with CIGGY on the comparison with Baros. I don't rate either of 'em much to be honest but based on what we have seen, the Czech is the better bet.

Thing with Morientes is that he doesn't seem to have to same passion for playing for Liverpool as the others do, I think he has and is still struggling to adapt to the english game.

SSN has just reported that he's only expected to be out for 10-15 days which is less than first thought. If that's the case, he'll definitely be out for the spurs and betis games and possibly manure aswell.

i think it is not a case of people hating moro....its just that moro seems to be favoured over 2 strikers who are better than him.... Yes, Baros & Cisse are better than him.

That is the reason why many don't really like moro.

As for me, i don't hate nor like moro. I juz want him to be a success here. If you ask me, its kinda focked-up he got injured. i mean....at this rate.....i am not sure when morientes will be fit enuff to play for us....

I reckon I was the first on here to cast doubts over the ability of Morientes to do a job for us, in the "I know it's early but......" thread last season. I got slagged then but it seems many others are beginning to worry over Nando's form, notwithstanding the fact that he is obviously a talented footballer.
Similarly this season I have been quick to rubbish his performances, largely because in my opinion they have been rubbish. All that said however, I don't wish ill on the fella and am as gutted as the next man that he is injured. I'm not a real fan of Roy Keanne either (though I have respect for his obvious football ability) but I don't even wish for him to be injured so I'm hardly likely to celebrate when one of our lads goes down and I'm sure nobody else would either.
Jesus I don't even wish any ill on Zenden! So lets stop all this silly talk of some on here being happy and wish Nando a speedy recovery. The sooner he finds his form and rams my words so far down my throat they come out of my erse the better for everybody.

I agree with you on this one. It seems that we can't comments about players without wishing ills on them.... funny way of life those guys have.

While I do not wish for Morientes to get injured, somehow I am somewhat excited that Rafa will have to play other strikers and not Moro all the time. Now maybe we will get to see a Liverpool with great potential...

It may not all be bad... In fact probably better for Liverpool. It is a possibility.. Cheers.

This must be the nicest forum in the World! If it's not Chelsea forever with his up to the minute progress reports on Fat Franks waistline, it's this Newcastle lad who now feels qualified to comment on all things Red. This assumption is presumeably based on the fact that Michael Owen chose to sign for Newcastle rather than sit on the bench for Madrid until Christmas. I actually think Newcastle played it very clever visa-vis Owen, forcing the issue and relying on the fact it was World Cup year and Madrids shameless greed to finally get their man.
Unfortuunately however I think Newcastle paid too much for Owen, both in terms of fee and wages. This will be proven true or otherwise as the season progresses. Strangely though, I am not moved to go onto Barcode.com or whatever it's called and bemoan the lack of opportunity which is afforded Shola Ameobi. Similarly, whether or they sold Jenas too cheap (FWIW they did and he is the snip of the whole transfer window in my view) is something I may have thoughts on but the idea of discussing it with a group of Geordies, anywhere other than in a bar as a result of a chance meeting is just daft.
I guess what I am saying is, you guys are welcome on here but haven't you got anything better to do? You support a team who haven't scored a goal yet in four games and have just shelled out 16 million quid for a striker. Go and have a lie down and dream of all the goals he will score, you don't need to be on here discussing Florent Sinema Pongolle.
