They are selling a lie as they don't have that life.

Marvin Gaye etc sang "whats going on" which was an equivilant to "imagine" i.e. about something.

Rap makes out that the guy with a minimum pay job is a loser and the "player" or "gansta" is the guy with the life to emulate. great message man?

I must admit the album has good points and bad points but the truth is it is not a notch on The College Dropout.

Then again second albums never are as good as the first
