Since I actually am an American, let me give some of you god damn morons a little lesson. The rapists and murderers deserve to be shot on sight, no question about that. But the city of New Orleans has a 70% poverty rate. Those people could not leave before the hurricane. They had no cars, and no money for train, bus, or airline tickets. These people have been let down by their government. And I'm sorry you don't like their whining, but if had to sit in a building with 100,000 people with no food, water, or running water, I think you might be upset too. And let's not forget the the dead bodies that sit next to you or float past you as you sit on the roof of your house waiting for help. I hate the guy in the White House as much as anybody, and trust me, because of the way he's behaved thru this, he will get what's coming to him. But don't equate those people to that moron. These people were left to die because they are poor and black, and it is a disgrace to our country. But you need to do some research before you open your big ignorant mouths, and shut the f**K about things you don't understand! You know what, whoever is in charge here, just cancel my membership. I don't want to have anything to do with you people.

Well then why does Bush not sort out his own back yard before preaching hypocrisy to the rest of the world and sticking his nose in where it does belong!!

If it was a major city like new york or Washington that got hit, there would have been aid in hours, it wouldnt have took 4 days. The poorest parts of America got hit and to be honest George Bush doesnt look like he give a :censored:

, if he knew the hurricane was coming weeks in advance why wasnt transport sent to the poor areas to get the people away from the poorest areas.

so the area has 70% poverty, and from what ive seen they are mostly blacks who are still there.

now are you suggesting that in the good ol' US of A that blacks dont get the same chances as the whites, they dont get to go to the same schools and get an education and then get a job? is that what you are saying?

and your country preaches to others about equality?

or are you saying that the blacks are poor because they are just too lazy to learn and work? (this is not what i am saying, i am asking you as an american why there is so much poverty amongst blacks in USA)

nah mate the yanks saved us years before hitler attacked the russians. if it wasnt for the supplies coming from the states we`d have been starved out in 1940. in fact during the battle of britain when it was touch and go the americans let us use their secret high octane fuel in our planes which gave the spitfires and hurricanes an edge in performance even though they werent fuel injected like the german Me 109`s. their navy escorted our convoys half way across the atlantic when the u-boats had us under the cosh. during the first "happy time" when it looked the the u-boats were going to win because we just didnt have enough escort vessels they also loaned us a 100 old warships ideal for escort duty too. all this was well before pearl harbour. britain owes president roosevelt its existance because he went behind the american peoples back to basically do everything bar send troops. without this aid we would have been forced to surrender - that is a fact mate like it or not. the large german, and especially italian and irish communities in the u.s were dead against the american government getting involved but roosevelt didnt turn his back on us even though it was probably political suicide (he didnt know pearl harbour was around the corner).
by the way whilst this country was fighting for its life russia invaded finland and had a mutual non aggression pact with the nazi`s, they were even in on the german invasion of poland. joe stalin couldnt have given a sh.1te what happened to us until operation barbarossa then it was a case of his enemy is my enemy.
its true the russians probably did more than anyone to crush the nazi`s but the fact remains they didnt help us during those dark days early in the war, and knowing that joe stalin and our establishment came from totally different political persuasions i dont think joe would have shed too many tears at our demise.

not one country was heroic. Ireland (I'll slag mine before yours) set on the fence and would have enjoyed seeing Nazis bitchslap the brits (forgetting Gerry would do the same to us), Russians did a deal to do nothing, Britain did a deal with Stalin (who was as bad as Hitler), USA made as much money (whats new) from it, Germany and Japan were bast*rds to many, the French fought as gallantly as the average Italian etc.

It all stemmed from WW1 which was about Colonies&empires and victors blamed Germans for the whole thing.

Regarding the floods, the american saying the poor couldn't get out as they had no money is amazing - I know American hate the thought of somebody getting something for free but come on, everybody (including homeless, drunks etc) should have been evacuated for free using trains, buses etc. An absolute disgrace, poor guys.
