we've looked quite decent defensively in the first two league games but we'll have to seriously be on our guard against defoe. i think it'll be a good chance to prove how vital crouch will be for us this season. our midfielders, especially gerrard should thrive making runs off him.
I can understand that but for me i still think that 4-4-2 is better!

I think playing a 4-5-1 is showing most teams too much respect,home or away!
we have the capabillity to go for the jugular and scare the
outta teams like spurs and i think we should!With respect to all other teams in our league as they are all there on merit,i think a 4-5-1 is only called for against Chelsea,Arsewipes and Manure!
