even Fifa when deciding world rankings look at who you have played and geographically where you are located when judging the correct ranking - when comparing La Liga to the Scottish Prem or the Champions League to League Cup success surely anyone can see certain weightings need to applied. Like every La Liga title is worth 5 in Scotland, Champs League is worth ten English League Cups etc

why do you think the Scottish League has no automatic Champs League Group stage spots, and only 2 representatives in total?
