Nothing? That's why they shoved him to us as part of Michael Owen's deal, or in other words, a disgraceful rip-off.

Due to his relatively bulky size and stature (comparable to Rooney though), many could see him not as a natural footballer but only as a squad player who would deputise during the first-choice's absense. However, bear in mind that there is no point in keeping foreign squad players when they constantly eat into our wage bill without giving any worthwhile contributions. The likes of Potter and Finnan could easily do a better job.

Come on now ive seen Potter play and Nunez was not that bad!

in defence of Potter, he isn't a right winger.  He's a central midfielder.  Finnan i'd agree with but the bottom line was that Nunez wasn't good enough.  How many times did he send his crosses into the Kop?  Glad he's gone.

he was pretty terrible, he occasionally put in a decent cross but often his runs would amount to nothing.  He possessed no tricks to beat opponents........it was a very good disposal

Why do we only sign left-footed wingers (Kewell, Riise, Zenden, Luis Garcia, and perhaps speedy Gonzalez) it can´t be that hard to find a decent right-footed winger?!

[quote] maybe so, but he prefers to cut in into the centre of the pitch and taking a shot at goal instead of providing the strikers with crosses.

I wasn't talking about his crossing ability, he's not a winger regardless. He can play with his right or his left, and that's a fact.

OK. if all you guys think he is poor... tell me what you think of Le talec and Kewell who is still in our squad.... Come on.. he was okay... you know... compared to some of our players... Nunez did not have much chance to prove himself...

He shined a bit... then was sold.
