yeah but in his defence:

zenden = absolute rubbish, free signing but just an extra 30grand on the wage bill, nowhere near good enough to keep risse out of the team IMO

pellegrino = wont go there

nunez = i dont blame rafa for this one as he took what he could in the MO deal, but an average player

josemi = thought he looked alright at CB against sofia, but then i watched the game yesterday, awful, enough said.

morientes = never gonna make it in the prem as ive always said, to slow predictable the list goes on.

im sure im missing someone...anyway thats 4 bad against 4 good in my opinion, i think rafas flops are on par with his promising signings.

overall rating on rafas signings = break even

I'm not saying he hasn't made mistakes, and I know he'll make more in the future although from what I've seen so far he has made way more good moves than bad moves and his tactical side is beyond question brilliant. I'm not saying your less of a supporter or that your opinion doesn't count, Im just saying he's only been here for little more than a year and given what he has already done I don't see a reason to question him.

people have opinions...we have to respect that.

i, myself somewhat like rafa for his tatical brilliance. He is also somewhat a good eye for talents (momo). I also want him to stay.

but one thing i don't really like is that he DOES show favourism to some players....

ah well....you can't have it all can you ? else he will be a perfect manager. :cool:

cnt believe this topic has even been raised....a rate rafa as one if the best coaches in the world

he took valencia to 2 league titles and won the uefa cup with them,then comes to liverpool and wins the european cup,carling cup final and won the super cup.

I admit some of signings have been sh*te to say the least but look who he has brought in...xabi alonso(world class passer of the ball),sissoko(looks quality for the future),luis garcia(doesnt play his best all the time but when he does he can be amazing),nando(not sure about him but u cnt blame rafa for signing him with his track record)

I can see better signings coming in the future......long stay rafa
