Is it just me or was that embarrasing? Biscan was a total joke, how Houllier can beleive he is going to be a world class is beyond me. I am totally fed up with the excuses, "it was the worng descision and clearly outside the box" - GH. It was totally the wrong descision to buy the lad in the first place, and an even worse one to play him at centre half.
There needs to be some wholesale changes in the summer, and the only way for that to happen is if GH goes. He is too stubborn to admit that upto ten of the players he has bought are not good enough.
"Now we fight it out for fourth place" - GH, Bob Paisley, Bill Shankly and hundreds of past Liverpool supporters and players will be turning in their graves. This club should not be settling for fourth place.

"First is everything, second is nowhere" So what does that make fourth place??

Let us have a second look at the two goals.

First goal: Hyypia totally out of position, then he stretched his leg out and fell on his back. Biscan was asleep, trying to amend things by pulling off Marlets pants. He almost pulled it off, but the referee saw his foul and sent him off.

Second goal: A bad cross from the right. There is no Marseiile players in the box. No red shirts either. No wait, Hyypia is there. He gives away a corner. (By the way did you hear the laughter.. 50.000 people laughed at you Hyypia. Clumsy finn)

So this is it then. So Mr Houllier, if you love this club, RESIGN NOW.

Every time Biscan goes out onto the pitch, start a stopwatch and I swear to god he'll have booted someone without getting anywhere near the ball within about 2 minutes. Fine, it was a poor decision to give a penalty, but putting in a last ditch slide would've been a better bet than just grabbing the guys shorts.

Quite why he got the nod over Henchoz I have no idea. Of Hyypia and Henchoz I'd say Hyypia's form (Saturday's goal notwithstanding) is the shakier of the two, but it's not as if we've got any cover for central defence that's even close to them in terms of quality.

I understand your disappointment mate but we've been robbed tonight by as bad a decision as you will see all season !!! I actually think the refs decision to play advanatage THEN if nothing comes from it award a free kick is a good one, However its NOT permitted under current FIFA regs, its NOT rugby where they opearte a similar system!!!!

LFC were on top and outplaying Marseilles until that shocking decision on 36 mins ! Lets not make this yet ANOTHER Biscan is sh##e/Gh should be sacked debate hey ,

Here is the list of upto ten players ...

1) Heskey
2) Diouf
3) Smicer
4) Murphy
5) Diao
6) Riise
7) Traore
8) Biscan
9) Vignal
10) Cheyrou

None of these would get a game for Arsenal Chelsea Manure or Newcastle. All bad buys, all must go.
I know transfers are not easy, everyone makes one or two mistakes (Manure - Veron / Chelsea - Crespo / Arsenal - Wreh), but ten is not acceptable.

I disagree with Heskey, Murphy, Vignal and the juries out on Cheyrou. With the exception of Gerrard there isn't ONE LFC player that would walk in the sides you mentioned so maybe we should sell the lot and start again ?

You know what, if the transfer market wasn't so bollocksed, that really wouldn't be a bad idea.

People always say that change on that scale is a bad idea, but then it's not as if just buying Finnan and Kewell has transformed last season's 5th placed squad into a team of world beaters. We're not even guaranteed to come 5th this year yet.

I think this could be the straw that breaks the camels back, so to speak?..it might force the board to take stock of where our season went wrong?, in my opinion it was giving gh another season to spend money on average under-acheivers! the man we need has just guided celtic to the quarter finals by seeing off one of the favourites barcelona, lets hope our board realies this too and make plans to get him for next season.
