Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Brian Little freely admitted that he had never seen Savo Milosevic play when he signed him for Villa, going on the strength of his scout's recommendation.

Brian Clough never saw Roy Keane play (either in the flesh or by video) when he signed him.

Many of the great players that Liverpool bought in the 1960s and 1970s were signed by Shankly and Paisley on the strength of a scout's recommendation.

If Houllier stay's the gap will get wider until eventually Liverpool appoint a new manager.  Then it will start to close!

But as far as winning the title that's along way off!.

If Man U finish lower than second, you see what real money can buy.  Believe me  Fergie has been perfect for Man U he's made the share holders a fortune along with success.  If they start to fade and even look slightly as if they'll lose ground then Abrahmovic will see what cheque book footbal is really about.  Man U are a bussiness and one of the most successful in football, people will want to prtect that investment so I see them, Chelsea and Arsenal Moving even further away.  Stu the only way to defend against buying power is talent, Houllier has no talent  O'Neill does!
