should we have a system where as members we can vote people out of the forum?

we should be able to nominate someone who is acting like a pr1ck and then be able to vote them out. i think either 20 or 25 votes should be enough to get rid of the disruptive members. also if people know they can be voted out they may think twice about starting petty squabbles or being abusive to other members.

if someone is nominated for the vote, it can be done in poll form, if they then get 25 votes to be kicked off then the mods ban them.

only members who were registered before the vote are allowed to enter vote to stop people starting multiple memberships to get rid of people they have argued with.

what do you all think? its one way to steer people in the right direction. its not to be abused to get rid of newbies who start too many posts or post in the wrong area, just to be used against the abusive people on here who try to bully other members and resort to abuse when someone doesnt agree with them?

don't think so peewee, it would just end up starting more arguments than it was intended to stop in the first place

if someone really is being an arsehole then the mods can just ban them anyway

To me you have negated your WHOLE idea, with your OWN post!! Or is it OK for you and certain others to do this, but when it is done to you lot it is 'banning' criteria??

And people have a go at me and use me as scapegoat, just because I say what I want and stand by and fully back up my views and points, not only with further points but also links to external websites, I think people need to check themsleves IMO :glare:

If talking about banning people for abusing people and then doing it yourself is not a contradiction of terms, then I just dont know what is!!

You made the post, obviously speaking of others and wanting the 'regulars' to come and agree with you!! Dont try and make out NOW, that you were including yourself in the post, because if you did/have, you have basically created your downfall (if your 'Ban Poll' was in affect that is)!!!
