Why don't we start up the "bring Robbie home campaign again".

Seriously, i'd have loved if Fowler was in the team in Istanbul and cracking one of the penalties past Dida.....but we have new heroes now and need to move on.

Great goalscorer and we sold him at the right time and got a good sum for a player who was in decline (perhaps this was due to him being unhappy at Liverpool witn Houllier and Thompson, but he was on the wane regardless).

If fowler was still here, we wouldn't have bought Peter Crouch. Thanks Mr Houllier. David Thompson was a promising youngster and yet he was sold.

How can anyone say that Houllier should have sold Fowler? If you lot don't remember right he scored a hat-trick in his last game against
Leicester and I would rather keep him and sell Heskey at the time. He was a true Scouser, remember the doCKers t-shirt?classic!

You misunderstood what i meant mate.

I wanted to say that if mr houllier didn't sell robbie fowler, the latter would still have been playing and thus not having the future-ex footballer of the planet, Peter Crouch in our team today.

The only football D.Thompson plays nowadays is table-top subuteo, usually on Blackburn Rovers' massage table.

Had ability, was sold. Most players turn to sh*t when they leave LFC. It's like going from a life of banquets to stewed brussels in domestos sauce.
