I have a feeling all will be revealed by August the 31st. Someones got to make way and its not gonna be Crouch. Goin from reports it looks liek Cisse and Baros is the most likely but i think it would make more sense to sell Dudek, Pongolle and maybe Morientes. After all Morientes did do well at Monaco

i`d keep cisse, even if it was to play him down the right.
if we have to raise a few bob surely there are other players who we can offload before him.

thats the sh!ttest thing ive heard in a long time, even foolier wouldnt do what it looks like rafa is doing. if he gets rid of cisse now then theres no telling what other retarded decisions hes going to make and i can see him becoming another houllier

apologies in advance to rafa if this cisse thing isnt true but if it is then wtf are you thinking

Just keep your mouths shut until something official actually happens rather than ranting on about how stupid Rafa is based on a a few tabloid reports. Whatever Rafa does we should back him. He won us a big trophey and we owe our backing to any desicion he makes. Cisse may not move after all. Do you really think Lyon will buy Baros and Cisse after just buying John Carew.

i know that, thats why i said apologies to rafa if it isnt true but it is looking likely that it might be with everyone reporting it and just the thought of this happening gets me really angry. ill try and wait and see what happens but it is a terrible decision if true

Indeed it may be. I alsoo fear that Rafa may be under immence preassure from the LFC board to get him back simply beacsue Owen is rooted that deeply in Liverpool football club. Ill be interested to hear what Rafa says on Saturday after the Sunderland game on MO, thats assuming that he hasnt already signed by then.

Totally agree. They've got Carew, Govou, Wiltord, so I think they will buy either Cisse or Baros. And if they buy Cisse, then Baros will go to Villa; if they buy Baros, then...

BTW, The Times said the 1200m offer is offcial, so probably Rafa has made his decision---we will sign Owen even Cisse stays!

Baros looks most likely to leave infact im sure its already a done deal. There is no basis for Cisse to want to go. I mean:
1) Hes just heped us win the European cup
2) He happy here
3) Didnt he get a Liverpool tatoo after the game, im sure iready somewhere that if we won hed get tatted up.

He been scoring for us on a regular basis. I think if Owen does come back he will have to prove himself to not on Rafa but to the KOP again so stay as a sub for the time being. Cos if he did come back and instantly went into the starting ahead of any of our other striker it would damage morale abit. And that the last thing we need at the begining of argubally our biggest campaign in 10 years.

baros has publicly said he refuses to play in france, that leaves villa who wont pay what rafa asks and yet have the cheek to say we cant have solano ? if it wasnt for the fact rafa obviously needs the funds id say stuff villa they can pay us what we want for baros or they dont get him. if o'leary is to thick to realise that he could get baros for less actual money if he threw in solano then screw him. as for the owen news it will happen at the very latest by tomorrow night looks like one of my rumour posts was actually almost spot on cisse to lyon baros to villa and mike back where he belongs. cant wait to see him score against man u :p

I don't think the team's morale will be damaged if Owen in the first 11 again. Because:

1) Stevie, Cara, Sami, the most infuencial players in the team want him back;
2) We will have one more English player in the first eleven;
3) This won't affect the status of those Spanish players and new signings.

But, I agree it's totally unfair for Cisse.

In case you missed what i said earlier:

I think the most sensible solution is one of the two and Rafa knows it:

!)Take him on a loan with a deal to pay the full price next year
2) David Moores fund the deal personally until the money from this seasons CL comes in.
