Rumours are out that chelsea are trying to get sven so Raneiri will be around.Liverpool should make a bid for him to come.

All claudio has done to get Chelsea to 2nd place is look at the 'most expensive player list' and brought as many as he can, without that money he's only achieved as much as Houllier.

Ranieri has done a good job at Chelsea. His team play attractive football (they have been a little ugly to watch this past month) He made good progress at the club before Red Rom arrived so it is unfair to claim money is the only reason he has had any success. I also like the fact he has bought several English players - Cole, Lampard, Johnson & Bridge.

However, having said this, i do not believe he would be right for Liverpool. Ranieri has a very continental approach to the game and i would much prefer to see a British manager come in.

I rate Ranieri higher than a lot of managers. He did well pre-Abrahamovic and so far the money has not tempted too many top quality players to Stamford Bridge. There is doubt about how many of the signings were Ranieri's choice. He hasn't taken them to the title but Arsenal have been a class apart from even manu. They have overtaken manu and who knows what they might do with a few new signings, a settled side and a fit Duff.

Whoever comes in will want to spend money, the team we have available is better than the results it is producing, give Thompson the reigns until a suitable replacement can be found

the way ranieri has been treated by chelsea is an absolute disgrace in my opinion. it seems that even if he wins the champions league he will get sacked. compare that to houllier who is a million miles fron winning anything this season but will probably keep his job for another year at least. mad world!

According to Houllier and his supporters, all our players and the team should be given time to settle - why should Chelski not be afforded this right? Their squad is expensive but they still need to get used to a) the Premiership and b) playing together

The Chelsea squad cost no more than ours and we've been paying wages to our lot for years longer. Our £120 million can be increased by £50 million if you count the wasted paychecks.
Having said that I do not think that Raneiri would suite us - Beg MON to take it!!
